CyCord portal is a one-stop-shop that helps Law Enforcement Agencies co-ordinate their efforts to solve all the cyber crime/ cyber incident related issues. Through this platform, the best minds in cyber security from Government Agencies, leading technical institutions, R&D organizations, Industry based and Individual experts from across the country can connect to help LEAs respond appropriately to a cyber crime/ incident. CyCord will therefore act as a collaborative platform to interact and resolve issues.

This portal is an initiative of Government of India under National Mission for the safety of women by utilising Nirbhaya funds, to facilitate victims/ complainants to report cybercrime complaints online. At present this portal caters to complaints pertaining to online Child Pornography (CP) / Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or sexually explicit content such as Rape/ Gang Rape (CP/ RGR) content.

Complaints reported on this portal are dealt by the respective police authorities of States/ UTs based on the information in the complaints provided by the complainants.

The DIGITAL POLICE portal is a SMART Policing initiative of Ministry of Home Affairs to provide services to citizens and aid efficient Police investigations. This portal is a platform for Citizens to file crime related complaints online and seek antecedent verification of prospective employees (including for domestic help, drivers etc.), tenants or for any other purpose.

Citizens can also seek certification of their own antecedents.

CERT-IN is an acronym for Indian Computer Emergency Response Team. The Primary role of CERT-IN is to raise security awareness among Indian cyber communities and to provide technical assistance and advice them to help them recover from computer security incidents.

The "Cyber Swachhta Kendra" (Botnet Cleaning and Malware Analysis Centre) is a part of the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-IN). It has been set up for analysing BOTs/ malware characteristics and providing information and enabling citizens for the removal of BOTs/ malware.

National Critical Information Infrastructure Protection Centre (NCIIPC) is an organisation of the Government of India created under Sec 70A of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (amended 2008), through a gazette notification on 16th Jan 2014 based in New Delhi, India. It is designated as the National Nodal Agency in respect of Critical Information Infrastructure Protection. In the event of any threat to critical information infrastructure the National Critical Information Infrastructure Protection Centre may call for information and give directions to the critical sectors or persons serving or having a critical impact on the Critical Information Infrastructure.
